Hello, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 31st August 2020. The week begins the Sun and Mercury continuing their journey in the precise and functional sign of Virgo. Also Mercury is in its dignity here, ruler of the sign that it is, and actually plays a bit of blinder as we say in England, when it comes to our football. Why? Well it angles up at 120 degrees to both Saturn and Pluto in the fellow Earth Triplicity of Capricorn. So, any ideas or strands that have been very well researched or planned can start to shape up very well indeed. The angle with Pluto is particularly helpful if we need to cut through to the detail of anything. This is a penetrating link ideal for getting to the nub or creating the framework for something to be built upon.

Tuesday sees the Harvest Full Moon in the sign of Pisces. This can beguile, bewitch or befuddle, because of the dreamy nature of Pisces, but Uranus angles well to both the Sun and the Moon, suggesting it is going to be important to flex, and bend to the circumstances we encounter. Something may come into the open that is out of kilter. With Mercury providing the potential for such precision perhaps we will need to embrace our emotions and take a holistic approach to even practical considerations.

A Grand Cardinal Cross occurs on the same day. This is particularly complex, not least because it involves Venus and Juno, the planet and asteroid of relating, as the get pulled into the ongoing battle between Mars and Saturn. If a relationship is out of kilter, the Full Moon may see a power play, but ultimately Uranus pushes that the truth must out. With Mercury gliding into the fair minded Libra by Saturday, whatever comes up, engaging in constructive dialogue will be much better than taking rigid and brittle making positions.
